Welcome to Dalpura Farm

Dalpura farm is located approximately 30 minutes drive from Geelong (70 minutes from Melbourne) and is at the eastern end of the Otway Region of South Western Victoria, in the Moriac district.

Dalpura was originally settled in the 1950's as part of one of the last Soldier Settlement Schemes following WW2. George & Marie Howson (Directors, Guadalquivir Pty Ltd.) purchased Dalpura late in 1993, making them the 3rd owners of the property.

In 1996 George contracted Australia Felix LandPlanning Consultants (now Australia Felix Permaculture) to develop an Environmental Management Plan for Dalpura.

Our aim at Dalpura has been to create an inter-generational forest for timber production, comprising mixed species and age classes of trees, and allowing natural regeneration of undergrowth species to develop as an evolving component of the system.
